Raina's Back!

We literally cannot keep Raina Telgemeier’s graphic novels on our shelves! Her books are almost always checked out – each title averages about 13 checkouts per year. The library has replaced at least three of her books multiple times due to either wear and tear or theft. To say her books are popular would be an understatement.

For both adoring fans and children’s librarians, publishing houses cannot pump out Telgemeier’s work fast enough. So it is with enthusiasm that I share the news that Raina will be spoiling us with TWO new titles in 2019.

With 2018 rapidly coming to a close it is hard to resist looking back at all the amazing publications for children and youth that hit the shelves this year. As usual, it was a year of too many books and not enough time! I have compiled a list (as difficult as it was) of just some of the best books of 2018.
